Jenny Rathone AM recently visited two Foodie supported sites to see the impact that LEADER funding has had on communities in south Wales.
In a Welsh Government debate held at the Senedd following her visit she praised the brilliant work the Ourgarden at Brit Growers project and Treoes Community Allotments have achieved to engage their communities in food growing. She also highlighted the knock on effects that these project have had on health, skill development, job creation and social inclusion.

“Great to see the groups getting the recognition they deserve and big thumbs up for her proposal of having a Community Foodie officer in each county in Wales”!
